Happy February FLAB fans
So far this year we have had opportunity to play with some pretty awesome bands, including Denver locals West Side Saints and Inkwell and the Quills . We also had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Raquel Rodriguez all the way from LA .If you don't know who she is, we suggest you look her up. She was discovered by Nigel Hall from Lettuce and Soulive. She is definitely as soulful as they get .
Along with the making our first video we started a new series you can check out on our You Tube channel .

Being busy has never been more fun. ☺
The fun began playing our first show at Moe’s BBQ in Englewood, where we had the privilege to play with Greeley’s ” Hypnotic Vibes” and San Diego ‘s “The Routine”. So much talent and all around great guys.
Thursday Oct 20th, we headed down to Colorado Springs to play a quaint little place called Sun Mountain Café. Even though it’s a small venue, we rocked it and had a blast doing so. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we are heading back down Nov 17th for their “Crazy Mountain Tap Takeover”. Each pint bought of “Crazy Mountain” you buy, you get a free pint glass and swag.
The following day we took the beautiful drive up to Winter Park where we spent the day exploring the city and the night rocking the locals at Ullrs Tavern. We look forward to playing here again, the fresh mountain air did us all some good.
In more FLAB news, thanks to our amazing publicist Rhonda at Team RMG, we received another awesome review as well as an interview. Both are posted on our Facebook page, ReverbNation or by clicking on the links below.
Come check us out Thursday Nov 3rd at the historic Little Bear in Evergreen then Friday Nov 4th we share the stage with Denver’s One Way Ride at Goosetown Tavern Denver.
Have a safe and Happy Halloween from Float Like a Buffalo
The past couple weeks have been a whirlwind of amazing opportunities for us. Starting with a mini tour around the LA area where FLAB was able to play several nights at a couple different venues all over the City Of Angels. Small issue with our rental van in the middle of Utah that made us spend the night in Parowan, but we met Jason Workman and he got us back on the road in a hurry after we bribed him with CD’s. If you ever have a mechanical issue near Parowan Utah, look up Jason. You’ll be glad you did.
Oct 5th we had the humbling experience to play during the silent auction at the Denver premier of “Tin Soldiers” which is an intriguing perspective film into the world of people who have spina bifida, amputees and paralysis, all who participate in adaptive sports. During this event we had the honor of meeting a 3-time paraplegic Gold medalist Alana Nicholas. Alana is a wheelchair basketball player and alpine skier. We also had the pleasure of meeting 8 time gold medalist Jason Regier. Jason is a Denver local paraplegic wheelchair rugby player.
Everyone together with Feature Leaders for NCSD, community members, many local companies and The Oriental Theater raise just over $9000.00 to benefit the National Sports Center for the Disabled.

Oct 8th we played another benefit for Ron Smentek who was in a motorcycle accident shortly after losing his health benefits. Float Like a Buffalo along with Monaghan’s Bar and Grill raised right around $700.00 to help with Ron’s medical bills. We wish him a quick and full recovery. Thank you to Monahan’s for letting us be a part of this.
Oct 10th was our interview with Nerf from 93.3 KTCL. What a fun and exciting experience this was for us. Thank you Nerf and the KTCL staff for being so awesome and accommodating!
